Ever since the first fat transplant was performed over 100 years ago, fat grafting techniques have been in a perpetual state of evolution with major scientific discoveries and clinical breakthroughs consistently improving its safety and success.  The more recent discovery of regenerative cells within the transplanted fat has also led to a deeper appreciation of its intrinsic rejuvenative and antiaging abilities.  

The most well-known and studied type of regenerative cells in the human body are called stem cells. In adipose tissue, the resident stem cells are called adipose-derived-stem-cells (ADSCs).  ADSCs are known to orchestrate many different types of adipose tissue remodeling and repair.  

Dr. Motykie developed three innovative Stellar™ Protocols, 1) Volume Replacement through Microfat grafting for Reshaping 2) Tissue Rejuvenation though the utilization of ADSC “enriched” Nanofat and 3) Tissue Regeneration though the supplementation of additional pure ADSCs.

Reshape: The goal of this protocol is to replace volume that is lost due to aging or to enhance or balance existing facial features using microfat.

Rejuvenation: Stellar™ rejuvenation is based on the concept of utilizing the ADSCs and growth factors that are already present in Nanofat to enhance the survival of Microfat Grafts as well as rejuvenate other local surrounding tissues

Regeneration: Stellar™ regenerative protocol combines reshaping and rejuvenation protocols but also integrates a pure isolated form of ADSCs obtained from your own fat with the intention to heal areas of your face and body.
